As part of its CSR programs of "Healthy Village", PT Jakarta International Container Terminal inaugurated the use of Public toilet that can produce biogas at RT 05 RW 04 Koja district, Wednesday (27/7).This biogas public toilet is aimed to providing clean water and creates biogas as an alternative energy that can be used by locals for cooking and use it as an electricity fuel. With this alternatives hopefully can helps the economy of surroundings communities. The inauguration was marked with ribbon cutting by HRA Director Dani Rusli Utama. This event was witnessed by Head of Koja district, community leaders and local communities.
Dani Rusli said this biogas public toilet development is a pilot project of JICT CSR programs at environment sector. “We hope this program can be successful and efficient for the community so the future it can be developed at other areas," he said.
